| Comments: |
Trail was packed up to Starr King, but getting soft from the rain. From there to Waumbek it looked like one person had been through, then it had drifted some, and after that the rain had softened it, so my snowshoes sank 6-10 inches all the way across the ridge. Not too bad. I did make the trail pretty choppy because waterlogged snow doesn't really hold you up much, and it is going to freeze into a not so nice bumpy trail after it gets cold again. My apologies for that. |
