Comments
Comments: Since the storm, Old Mountain Road had been used by skiers until a parasitic postholer went up and destroyed the trail for all who will follow until the next snowstorm. Deep postholes, ranging from 1 to 3 feet. A few looked like they may have caused injury, as one leg would fall off the narrow shelf.

The inconsiderate person turned around partway up Crawford Ridgepole, probably out of sheer exhaustion. I was able to set a good snowshoe track from the junction to the summit, sometimes sinking down 3 feet, other times floating on windpacked drifts. Some drifts are 6 feet deep. Hopefully this stretch is left alone between now and the end of the upcoming rain, so that it sets up with a good footbed when the temps drop this weekend.
