Comments
Comments: We stayed at Carter Notch Hut on the 19th, ate an early breakfast (thanks Evan) and lashed on snowshoes for the hike down. It had snowed about 10" overnight and the drifts while going across the pond were amazing, beautiful and cool to break trail on that as we were first on the trail. We broke trail to the WRT at the height of land and then a nice couple passed us and broke it the rest of the way down. As of yesterday around noon, 19-mile was broken out to the parking lot. No summits this trip but a nice hike and great to get out there.
