Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: In Washington NH we took Faxon Road to King St. King St is not maintained by the town in winter but is drivable by a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. With my dual rear wheel drive truck our plan was to drive to the height of land on King St, park and start bushwhacking from there. The last ½ mike prior to the HOL was a little sketchy so we back up and parked at a turnaround.

Comments
Comments: This mountain (ya I know it's called a Hill) is on the NH 2000 Footer and NH 500 Highest List.

From our parking spot with Strapped on our snow shoes and continued up King St to the height of land, jumped on an older logging cut, drop down a bit and started climbing up the southeast shoulder and soon enough hit the recognized high point marker by an iron bean stuck in the ground. The summit high point is shaped like a peanut, so we were sure to hit and look over all the bumps up there.

Nice area with lots of moose, deer and other critter activity.
