Gale River Rd loop is unplowed and gated. Parking lot just off Rt 3 was well-packed. My little Honda Fit made it in fine. |

Longer one on lower trail well-iced over; shorter ones higher are a bit damp. |

Judah was on his best behavior, but had to be carried into the summit foundation out of the wind. |

Well enough packed for we three to barefoot to Garfield Ridge / AT. MicroSpikes from there made the steep spot much safer. Downhill would have been a GREAT ski run. 4.0 hours up, 2.5 hours down for fit men aged 34 to 67. |
