Comments
Comments: Almost had the whole day to myself, only saw a group of two coming down Valley Way as I was ascending, it's nearly unheard of to only encounter 2 others on a day in the Presis. Given the solitude combined with very nice weather by Winter standards and a packed trail, I couldn't have asked for a better day up there. Microspikes were sufficient for summiting, but crampons would've been safer on the above treeline descent via Watson due to the steepness and hardpacked/icy nature of the snowfields. The next round of storms will change conditions up significantly in the coming days however.
