| Comments: |
Hiked today with snow coming down which left a couple of inches of new powder on top of the nicely packed trail. Boots fine with the exception of the spur up Lowe's bald spot where light traction makes the short climb easier. Found gusty wind on top of Lowe's Bald spot that actually filled in our track after a minute or so - snow and wind on the way back added some additional powder to Old Jackson Road. A nice and easy little hike to a spot that has great views on days without the cloud cover. Always worth a visit. |
