Comments
Comments: Warm day out on Saturday. Sweated profusely. Snow was mixed granular, soft, slush. No snow balling until coming back down on Liberty springs where it had been warmer. No ice anywhere really. Butt sliders had been smoothing out the trail a bit up high and making it slippery. Took us 3.5 to summit and then about 2 hours down iirc. Microspikes all the way up and down. Snow was definitely deeper on Franconia ridge trail. Great day up on the mountain with beautiful views of Cannon, Lincoln, ..just everywhere.
