The Rte 11 lot was way less busy than it usually is in the summer! |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All the crossings on the brook trail were either easily rock-hopped or required very little submersion into the water. I never had any water get in my boots, so no issues. |

 | Comments: |
Microspikes the whole way today did the trick. There was a solid icy base under a dusting-couple inches of snow throughout the trails I took. The summit of Major was mostly bare rock minus some iced over pools. |
