Noise. The ski area was playing loud music for much of the afternoon. It wasn't oppressive by the trail but those poor skiers! If you want a peaceful day in the woods, go somewhere else.
The snow got a little mashed potato near the top, but not enough for me to bother switching from microspikes to snowshoes. Excellent butt-sliding opportunities. It took me two and a half hours to get up and only sixty-five minutes to get back down. |
