The first 2 miles on the trail were really easy to walk on with microspikes.( Thin layer of snow/ice) after, we kept our microspikes, trail was a bit more powdery and would be easier with snowshoes. snow was accumulating under the spikes and formed often snowballs... Stay on the monorail, it is easy to dip your entire leg in the snow. We made it to top without difficulty. Summit was not windy, with nice view it took us about 6h30 to complte the hike. Very nice day out! |
