| Comments: |
Nineteen mile brook was broken out. Lots of open water/bare rock areas. I used snow shoes, but if I were to do it again I would spike it to the Carter Dome intersection, and snow shoe from there.
Wildcat Ridge was unbroken since who knows when. 12" + at the junction and getting deeper. No sign of a trench. First steep section was one step up and slide 6 steps back. I was a little concerned about the side hill slide area. We turned around after a hundred yards or so. Tucker looked like a deer in a hay field. Jump, disappear, jump, disappear.
Bring a friend with two legs and snow shoes. |
