| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
When I got there at 10am. York Pond road was only plowed where the town line stops. After that there was 4-5 inches of new snow with ice underneath. When I came out at 3pm, the road and trail parking area was plowed out. #awesome |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Many water crossings today through out the climb. Most of them were one steppers. I did break through on one crossing breaking off at least 4 feet of ice. You`ll have a better chance of doing it right where I didn`t.:) |

| Comments: |
The big difference between Waumbek and Cabot was the footing. On Waumbek, the base was solid, where Cabot had a much softer, but firm base. I should have worn my snow shoes on this one. My bad!!!
3 inches of snow down low with 6-8 inches of snow above 3600ft. Very easy to navigate the trail.
