Decided to ascend the North side as there were a few ahead of me on the same adventure. After making it to the summit, I decided to descend back to the junction of the loop, as my puppy was with me and still just being introduced to longer mileage. I decided that if we were to make the additional summit, then from the junction, it would be an additional mile and we could make the decision at that point, rather than committing to the loop. I'm glad I did as the snow squalls were not seeming to let up and my puppy was ready to run back down. There were a few other groups out too! |
