Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: First one in lot at 6:45. Lot was full upon returning.  
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Postholes 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction, Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Most crossings not completely frozen over but rock hoping makes all of them quite easy.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Monorail hard packed and in good condition with little postholing. Only had to duck under one tree.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Encountered one two dogs on decent. Neither leashed. One very friendly the other made me a little nervous as it was growling at me and completely disregarding its owners commands.

Comments: Great trail! The chimney wasn’t as bad as I’ve heard. Crampons and an ice axe made short work of it.
