This mountain is on the NH 500 highest List. Mary and I followed the road to the height of land just north of the summit. We then jumped off the road, followed a broken out snow shoe track for a few hundred yards or so and then started bushwhacking in open woods soon hitting the summit jar, recognized high point and those snowshoe track. Looks like those tracks belonged to Zack & Bryan who had hit the summit just a few days before. On our return trip we stoped and checked out Halls Pond. Nice quick hike clocking in just over 4 miles and 1000 ft of elevation gain. |
