The summit was devoid of snow or ice. Old Bridle Path was wet, packed snow at the bottom turning more into frozen snow/ice the higher up the trail we went. It was iciest on the stair portions of the trail. Ascending was fine with bare boots, but if you are unsure of your balance with a decent, microspikes would handle the icy portions just fine. |
