Parked at the Cog. A few weeks back, parked for $10 and expected to do the same today. However, a building at the lot is now manned and collecting a $10 PER PERSON fee to park. License plate #, name of all hikers and phone number taken. Passes provided and required to be with you on your hike.
Ammo Lot had a few cars parked - looked plowed and maintained.

Avoided the crossing by going up the Cog to #32 and crossing the tracks and over to Jewell Trail. |

Parked at the Cog and crossed the tracks to the Jewell Trail. Hillsounds used the whole time without issue. Some small patches of ice on Gulfside but easily avoidable. Steady winds kept us moving to keep warm. Saw a few other hikers enjoying the day. Great day out with Gypsy Hiker! |
