Comments
Comments: Oddly warm start today which gradually cooled. Snow was slushy and wet down low, but it got firm and crusty closer to Carter Notch. Wildcat Ridge trail is a little sketchy in the switch back sections. I made it up fine with snowshoes but full traction would have made me more comfortable, especially if I was descending. There are occasional snowshoe post holes to avoid but overall the trail is in decent shape.
