Got to the Ski Area at 10:45. Took me legitimately 10 minutes to find a parking spot. WV was insane today. No surprise given that it’s vacation week. |

Ran into a couple that looked like they were having a blast. |

Unless you count the brazen red squirrel at the summit as one, none to speak of. |

A random Stabilicer was left on a rock maybe half a mile in. |

| Comments: |
Trail was more like late March than late December. Various flavors of mashed potatoes. Soft and bony down low, still soft in the middle, finally a semblance of a hard pack after the Sosman junction (~ 3800’).
I imagine after the incoming freeze tonight and tomorrow that the trail will be pretty slick. |
