Comments
Comments: This one is a drive-up, but with a nice payoff. From the turnaround, a path heads west from a granite marker and plaque reading "Mt. Lookout". There are also footings here from a former structure, no idea if a fire tower was ever here or what. The path descends a short distance to a bench with an expansive western vista with views from Monadnock to Crotched to Pats Peak to Ragged to Kearsarge. A really neat spot. You can double back or continue around a loop which connects to the access road for the communications tower that is also up here.

Thanks to Zachary for his recent report on this. I have a feeling this will be my new go to spot for sunsets. Close to home and easily accessible!
