Comments
Comments: Rough shoulder season conditions at the moment. Old Mountain Road has lots of blue ice, much of which outmatched my Microspikes. Hillsounds would be a better idea until we get something on top.

Crawford Ridgepole alternated between stretches with a dusting (overnight) and a foot and a half deep, littered with postholes. Had folks stuck to their snowshoes prior to the deep freeze, this wouldn't be such a mess.

A couple of minor or one moderate snowfall away from needing snowshoes again on this one.
