Comments
Comments: Lower section of RB up to where it levels off is on-and-off snow, but what snow is there is hard packed. Running water on the trail for the first 5 miles or so. Monorail is stable, as it is pretty much everywhere else at this point, so snowshoes stayed in the car; I really only put spikes on for the crossing, otherwise you can manage with footwear with some good lugs.
