A couple tricky crossings on snow covered and icy rocks. Pole and traction extremely helpful. |

Good although there might be some wet paws at a couple of the stream crossings. |

Beautiful day out. A couple inches new powder over crusty snow and ice. Good, frozen snowshoe track for much of the route. Some wet and icy sections lower down. Snowshoes not currently needed. Very few postholes. I didn't see any other hikers out today although there were tracks on the Garfield Ridge trail coming from South Twin to Garfield. |
