Water Crossing Notes: Crossed the first on a couple of logs slightly left of the trail on the other side. Second crossing was an easy leap.

Dog-Related Notes: Good to go, though Avalon has been butt-slid into a slip-n-slide, so use caution here.

Comments: Again, thanks to everyone for staying off the trails until after the post-storm freeze. Trails were all in great shape--hard packed and frozen solid. Spikes are good on the way down, but otherwise a good pair of runners or boots will do the trick (bring spikes anyway). No snowshoes for as long as it stays cold.
