Hi Cannon was doable with just spikes, though the ladder area was a bit treacherous. Had planned to go across the cannonballs but the trail was not well packed and I had stupidly forgotten my snowshoes in my trunk, so I went down Lonesome Lake (pretty poorly packed down to the lake, had to slide on my butt through a few sections) and across to the Fishin Jimmy Trail (very well packed). Kinsman Ridge between the Kinsmans was also pretty well packed and I didn't miss the snowshoes much. I'm sure conditions will change substantially today with all the rain! |
