Comments
Comments: Stunning morning on Monroe, perfect snowshoe conditions. Trail splits above treeline, right stays very close to the trail, while staying straight at the split is the express route straight up to the hut. We went up the trail and down the express route. From the hut We took the snowfields up and down Monroe. Conditions unfortunately will change dramatically over the next 36 hours so bring all year gear post storm (warm up - rain - hard freeze). Hopefully the snow base up there will not be ruined as it has been the best December I can remember up above treeline.

Whitney and I took Sarge up above treeline for the first time. He had a blast!
