Comments
Comments: I started from my home on Forest Pond Road, crossed straits rd. and bushwhacked through open woods. Near the summit of Beech Hill rock climbing, traction needed. Found the jar and signed in. I think Zack Porter placed the jar. Then headed down east side of ridge making Sky Pond easily. Arriving at the F and G parking area I headed up Class VI Rd and followed the trail to Bald Ledge with great views of Winona lake and the Sandwich Range. From here I bushwhacked along cliffs, returning to the Class VI (Beech Rd Extension) and then bushwhacked back to the corner of Straits and Forest Pond Rd.
A leisurely 4 hour hike.
