Comments
Comments: A wonderful day to hike up Wildcat. The temp was hovering around freezing. Other than a few spots exposed to the strong wind, it was a warm hike. Generally a stable monorail, even in the late afternoon, but there were mud holes and exposed rocks making microspikes rather than snowshoes the way to go. On the way down 19 Mile Brook Trail, there was a bit of running water in spots from daytime melt. We had a great view for our lunch from the lookout on top. We initially missed the little side trail to the actual summit, but if was there if you look hard.
