Comments
Comments: A solid day in the whites, with a late departure I made it up and back from Madison very easily. Many people on snowshoes or microspikes that seemed to do well. I opted for my crampons for the ascent from the hut, and then down. Only a small portion of the trail was a little messy with post holing, it was a great monorail for most of it. The butt sledders cleaned up most of the mess as well.

Everyone seemed nervous about the wind but to each their own. I'd guess 30-40 mph winds on the day, and there wasn't much to worry about if you had the right gear. Adams will have to wait for now, i wasn't interested in a pitch black decent if I got into trouble.

I haven't seen a trail report in some time, but couldn't ask for better conditions.
