Comments
Comments: The trail was well packed the whole way, with extremely minor areas of ice on the steeps. Light traction or traction (or both) would be the way to go. I ended up turning back at the slide crossing due to limited daylight and not being familiar with the trail (this was my first time approaching the Osceolas from the Greeley Ponds side- that end of the Mt. Osceola Trail packs a serious punch). Also, I just simply didn't feel comfortable going farther than the slide area. Better to be on the safe side.
