| Comments: |
Used microspikes the whole way, no need for snowshoes as long as you stayed on the packed trail (although we saw people with them). The whole way was packed nicely, just a little softer at the bottom due to the "high" temps (high of 34 degrees that day). Stepping off the trail your foot will sink in deep. The sky was a white abyss when we first summited but then cleared while we were up there!
Also, saw drops of blood for a long duration of the trail - thinking maybe it was a dog, hope it's okay! |
