Lot at Lonesome Lake not plowed. Snowmobile track only. My AWD vehicle got stuck. Thanks to the dude who helped get me out. Advice to park at lot near underpass. |

Trail was hard packed. Got by with Microspikes most of the day, although Trail-Pros would have done better. Had to kick into the trail on steep sections to get a good grip. I switched to snowshoes on the descent (with more aggressive spikes) to assist on controlling the butt-slide. No views at the summit but got some nice pics at Lonesome Lake area. Met some nice folks. All in all a good day and my latest fall-season 4k to date. |
