A couple of downed trees to step over. Trails were in good condition with few postholes on the upper parts of Gale River Trail. The blue spades on trees along Gale River trail were visible and easy to follow. Garfield Ridge Trail has white spades on the trees, not as bvious. |

Didn’t see one but the trails should be very suitable for dogs; there are a couple of steep spots on frost trail but shouldn’t be an issue. |

 | Comments: |
Snowshoed all the way except for the first few mins. Snow was too slushy for spikes. Although the trails were in good shape, be careful with footing— the snow off the footpath was loose ; if your foot was half off the footpath, you coul sprain your ankle! |
