Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at Camp Sentinel. I'm being added to their community list. Was sent an email form, disclaimer. Spells out must give 24hr notice and receive confirmation to park there. Very nice folks. I got back just before dark and they were worried and called me. So will arrange to hike earlier in future to avoid putting them in that position. On another note, yesterday, I took Protean Wanderer's advice and bought a shovel to keep in my car. Smart idea.

Comments
Comments: Explored the woods road along the southern length of Dan Hole Pond, on the Trail Bandit map. After the red colored line going to the pond, there's at least one new blazed trail, possibly two, heading towards Oak Hill. Access to these trails would be shorter from the Roland Pond Road end, but the two woods trails going there get into housing, at least one of the houses is signed. I tried to keep away from the houses and will return from the Sentinel end to explore the other trails.
There remained just enough snow cover for snowshoes. I added the 6" tails this time, seemed to work good.
