Very well packed trail - no need for snowshoes on this hike as we hadn't had fresh snow in over a week...and many folks have packed down this route. I really preferred crampons to microspikes as the trail gets steep in sections, and it's easier to dig a toe in to climb up, and dig a heal in coming down. |
