We got one of the spots at the trailhead, a little slick and bumpy getting up there. Others parked in the lot next to the gas station and did the short road walk. |

Saw a cute fox-dog who seemed to be having the time of his life. |

Trail is in absolutely perfect condition: packed down and not a posthole to be seen. Even Mel, an enthusiastic member of the snowshoe police, left hers on the pack today. Summits were mostly in the clouds. Saw about 20 hikers on the trail. Much warmer weather than yesterday made for a nice hike. |
