| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are a ton of blow downs between the summit of Hancock and South Peak. Did a lot of hands and knees crawling underneath some. I wore spikes but two other hikers wore snowshoes which I felt would have gotten in the way of all the tricky blowdowns. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Leoni had a great day sprinting around and under the blowdowns with ease. |

| Comments: |
About 2 inches of fresh snow up top is now packed down solid. Spikes would do for most of the trip, snowshoes would be helpful at 4000 feet between peaks other than the blowdown situations.
Hit it now while its still packed down. |
