The trail is hard packed from the colder temps. I was able to bare boot the entire thing with minimal postholing. There were several areas of open streams and standing water in the trail. Along the Engine Hill bushwack and the lower part of Isolation Tr, there are a lot of post holes that have hardened into the trail. When doing the Engine Hill bushwack, it goes higher up the ridge line then I recall. There is a packed out junction halfway. Take a left which goes downhill (rather than straight and slightly uphill. Unsure where that goes). Then the bushwack/herd path will merge with Isolation Tr in which both ways appear packed out. Take a right to continue your journey towards Isolation. Some minor drifts on the summit and along Davis Path.
