Comments
Comments: Wore spikes up and back. Was able to stay on snow and or ice all the way to tower, the top is getting some bare spots to it though. Trail was pretty choppy and all frozen granular, some postholes about, worst seemed to be just before the bridge on the way up. Met a nice couple at the lot on the return, happened to be the head of the Cardigan Mountain Highlanders trail crew. I think I just became a member. Only saw one other hiker on way up, and the two at the lot. Snowshoes would be horrid to try in these conditions, just way too chopped up.
