Less snow here than a few miles north of here. Nevertheless, 6-8" of wet, sticky snow on top of the existing base. The first two thirds had been skied, while the last part of the trail was unbroken. Broken out now with snowshoes, but not well packed. If you intend to bareboot, a postholer came up the trail from the lake.
Winona Lake is iced over. |
