Comments
Comments: Snowshoes a must. New moist, sticky snow ranges from 6-8" down low to 10-12" on the ridge with 3 foot drifts. Existing snowpack underneath. Some open water/muck still remains on Old Mountain Road. Snow could pack down nicely if subsequent users also use snowshoes. Those who go out in the mountains with this snowpack should be responsible for their own rescue costs.
