Water Crossing Notes: There was one crossing where we had to cross on a log. I used the log on the way up but did some rock-hopping on the way back and it was less scary!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was great, nothing to say
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sherpa was the only dog out there. She had no problem on the trail and loved it. She tried to follow me on that log though, and she fell in the water below. Poor girl! Dicey Mills is definitely ok for dogs in winter :)

Comments
Comments: It was a great day. It was so warm, the snow was wet and heavy. It was balling under my hiking poles and spikes. I switched to snowshoes near the junction to Tom Wiggins and it was much better. Definitely bring your snowshoes! The trail to the viewpoint wasn't broken out and we didn't feel like it and I think the hikers behind me weren't up to it either, so it might still not be broken out. Overall a great day, we met a lot of people and Sherpa had a wonderful time.
