|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
There are 3 easy water crossings at the start of the trail, then one large one that is (was) partially bridged, but collapsed under an unfortunate hiker (be careful out there) The narrow bog bridges are tedious w/snowshoes. 2 stream bridges have collapsed, but the remnants make good stepping points. |

 | Comments: |
An unfortunate amount of (non-snowshoe) foot traffic on the X-C ski trail from the last crossing of the X-C ski trail before Upper Greeley Pond. People seem confused, and don't understand that the big blue arrow is a ski trail marking. Since the pond isn't frozen enough yet this isn't a huge problem.
Trail adjacent to the pond is well-traveled, but somewhat choppy. Snowshoes would be good in this section, but nobody was using them. |
