Comments
Comments: Broke out a few miles of Carter Dome trail and Carter-Moriah trail. 19 Mile Brook Trail was totally good, at the junction I came across a fellow hiker who spent the majority of the rest of the day with me and thank YOU! Up until about Zeta Pass the trail was mostly 6 inches of powder with an obvious recent trail break. From Zeta though, good God it was rough going. 1-2 feet with drifts nearing 3-4. I couldn't have done it without lexib603 so thank you for the company! High winds at the top of Hight prevented us from eating our snacks up there but the sky couldn't have been clearer. All the presies were in full view and gorgeous, I really couldn't have asked for much more. Overall it was a great day and I'm really happy, hope these trails see some more action this weekend to help pack down what we started.
