Beautiful day on Mt Jackson. The trail was packed down, but snow fairly soft so we opted for snowshoes from the start. There were a few areas of trail along the way with no snow/wet patches but they were small sections. The trail was beautiful in winter and I thought the top scramble was easier with snow also. No wind and gorgeous views up top today! On the way down temps were warming up and there was a lot of dripping from trees making the snow stickier. Great snowshoe in the woods. |
