Trails are in great shape, as of this morning atleast. Everything was hard packed and firm, spikes where sufficient. Later in the day as it warmed up, snowshoes where preferable so you didn't destroy the trail. Snapper was extremely firm, Gorge Brook was in great shape. Carriage from Summit to Glencliff saw a lot of sun so its pretty pock marked out but nothing horrible.
There was one super rude guy that had no pack at the summit that lectured us under his breath that we weren't wearing snowshoes - not needed as there are two drift sections above timber. Everyone we saw had snowshoes but opted to not wear them. |
