Comments: Mt. Kinsman, KRT

The trail is in amazing condition for this time of year. Packed powder the whole way. I used snow shoes as the other three hikers I met. I imagine someone could use spikes at least up to the look out, but there are some definite gaps, just barely hidden by snow, on the way up to the tower, that would love to grab a leg and break it. The trail could use another foot of packed powder to fill in some of the narrow passages through the rocks here and there, but otherwise it's ideal for snowshoeing. I tracked the loop back down to the Tram and over to KRT so people would realize they had another/faster way of getting to the tower.
