Comments
Comments: From Rt. 25A in Wentworth, took Upper Baker Pond (aka Piermont Hts. Road on many maps), and drove uphill towards Bear Tree Road. The road was plowed and sanded up to here, and unplowed Class 6 beyond this junction. Drove 0.3 mile west along Bear Tree Road (plowed) to a large turnaround outside a gate. Continued on the road 0.3 more mi., to a logging area and followed a nicely laid out skidder road up the south ridge towards the peak. When the logging road petered out, we continued through open woods. Woods got a bit denser near the top, but nothing bad nor difficult. Pill bottle intact. Snowshoes start to finish. Pleasant day out with JEM3, Schorman, Lady Di, Bill C. and Steve M.
