Comments
Comments: Parked at the trailhead, crossed Rt. 9, and began up Nye Road / MSG. About 0.4 mi. up road just prior to the last house, there was a plowed bumpout (room for 2 cars); likley a plow turnaround, but it was NOT posted, so I'd feel okay about parking here. Continued up what is now a Class 6 road of sorts. Hunters with big trucks had been out and were able to drive quite a ways in. Property to the left / west heavily posted for no trespassing. At about 1.3 mi. / 1700', at a stonewall corner, the property to the west changes to a SPNHF property (Daniel Upton Forest). We went in here, and hiked up through open and attractive woods to the recognized summit.

Nice day out with Nate, Bruce, Roger, Ann, Bill & Di
